Vintage Martin Style 0 soprano ukulele
This is an outstanding vintage Martin soprano made between 1945 and 1952 approx.
It is structurally perfect and cosmetically very nice.
There is a surface scratch and some minor strum marks on the front. back and sides are exceptionally clean.

Koolau T100SP Koa Slothead Tenor Ukulele
This is a premium Curly Koa Koolau tenor Ukulele with satin varnish finsh. This is the finish I prefer on most ukuleles I personally play. I want this Vintage Kamaka!
Last October I came across this lovely Kamaka at a music shop in Lexington, Ma. I talked to the store owner about it and he had stated that he had that uke behind the counter for 5 years. Anyhow I posted a question on uke yak asking how much I should expect to pay for this uke. To make a long story short I drove up two hours the next day to purchase this ukulele and when I got there the owner said, you are not going to believe this. I knew it was bad news news just from the look on his face. He said twenty min ago a gentlemen called from England and said I want to purchase that Kamaka. So I guess by posting the photos on uke yak, I tipped off somebody about the uke and its where about.All I can say is that whoever bought it was meant to have it, and for some reason I was not. It is the only explanation I have for myself. So for the last few months I litterally have not been able stop thinking about that uke. I spent the whole day before playing it and falling in love with it, and figured it had been there 5 years, I should be able to go home and get the money and come back and purchase it the next day. And here I am now posting this to plead that, anyone on the fence about selling theirs, please let me know. Thank you in advance. I know weve all let the perfect instrument slip through our fingers but this was just too painful.

I just don't use this uke. It's got a great sound, classic style, and nice low action. But I'm really more of a concert player than a soprano one. This would be a great instrument for someone looking to step up from a Mahalo or other beginner uke to something nicer.

RISA Concert 100% Acoustic (LOWERED PRICE)
Risa acoustic in excellent shape. Nice even tone across the spectrum. It has one small ding on the edge somewhere,(I believe its the back edge) but its hard enough to find much less photograph. Ukelin
The following is informaton I got from a music store that is very knowledeable about instruments. In pretty good shape, but a few cracks on the back. "The instrument is a "ukelin" otherwise known as a "Hawaiian Art Violin." The strings on the side are bowed while the clusters of strings are plucked in chords at the same time. They were popular in the 20's through the 50's and sold door to door. There are a lot of old ones around especially back east. There are a few people who play them. They sound ridiculous enough to be fun. Most of them in playable condition are worth about $75."

Built August 1 ,2008. (right on the inside label with a complete description of the uke) . It is beautifully crafted by Al McWhorter, a one-man shop in Eugene, Oregon. The uke has a solid Sapele top w/gloss lacquer finish. Laminated sides and back of Sapele also with a hand rubbed oil varnish. Solid mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard and bridge. Bone nut and saddle. Aquila strings. It is light as a feather! I have decided to play tenors. Don't want this little gem to sit in a closet. Sound is crisp and clean and with good volume too! It comes with a great mint hardshell case that fits this uke like a glove.

Kanile'a Super Concert Custom Ukulele
This is your chance to own a custom made ukulele from Joe Souza without the wait. A super concert is a concert body with a tenor neck. This one has all of the bells and whistles you can imagine. Let me try to explain it to you without missing anything! Spruce top, curly myrtle back and sides, brazilian rosewood neck and headstock, gold plated grover open geared tuners, gorgeous m.o.p. inlay on the ebony fret board, ebony and m.o.p. binding on the front, fabulous single course m.o.p. rosette, hilo under-saddle pick up with a gold knob, the high gloss UV cured high gloss polyester finish that Kanile'a has mastered, SOUNDS AMAZING, great intonation, crystal clear notes all the way up the fret board. In the spirit of being honest, here it comes! 1- There is a small hairline 1/2 inch crack on the bottom of the fingerboard just shy of the 3rd fret. It had been there since I got it over a year ago and shows no sign of spreading. I took several pictures and it wouldn't shop up in any of them. If you look closely at the rossette, the work is the tiniest bit sloppy around the turns (this also would not show up in any of the pictures!) A very cool collector's piece! This is your chance to get the discontinued mook-ulele. It is a wonderful conversation piece and super fun to play. Here are the specs, I upgraded to the rosewood fret board, and have a misi battery free w/ a pre-amp rechargeable under-saddle pick up installed. 1 minute of charging can last up to 16 hours, and boy is this one LOUD! Here are the catches. 1- There is a small blemish in the black paint on the face that I did my best to capture in the picture. This was there when I got it. 2- I had the misi pick up installed in 2 flukes at the same time, and the folks at FMM only send me one plug to charge it with that I will need to hold on to. Custom Kamaka Tenor (HF-3) w/active electric pickup
I had Kamaka build me this uke in Feb. '07. It is still in like new condition and was played very little due to my work schedule. It has a few slight surface scratches that are barely noticeable and a blemish that it arrived with. It looks like some gray dust that was on the wood before they applied the finish because it doesn't appear to be on the surface. It's about the size of remote control button. The last pic shows it if you look at the middle of the pic where the top meets the side. It's not a chip or ding.
I couldn't get the scratches to show up on photo because they are so hard to see. I am a fan of Jake Shimabukuro so I asked Kamaka to build me a uke like his minus the fancy decorations. They installed a Fishman "Acoustic Matrix Active Acoustic Guitar Pickup". The HF-3 retails for $980 without the pickup. The pickup was $200 +40 for installation. I'm near Tucson, Arizona so if any locals wanna stop by and try it out first that would be ok.

Compass Rose tenor, flawless and unique
More herd thinning. The arrival of a Ko'olau T-1 has finally convinced me to part with my cherished Compass Rose tenor. Until now I have always said it was the best sounding tenor ukulele I owned but now it's a tossup and since there's no point to having two that sound so similar, I'm offering this one to a good home. This is an unusual Compass Rose in that the body is all mahogany (one piece top and bottom, not bookmatched) and it has a sunburst finish that I understand was hand-done by Rick Turner. I have only seen two others like it: this one http://tinyurl.com/6qz3qn , which I understand is priced way “up there” because it has a ton of extras and bling that mine doesn't have, and this one http://tinyurl.com/6b6g4b , which appears to be the same model and finish. This ukulele has a low action that plays easily but that's not what makes it special, I just love the way it sounds. It is currently strung with Savarez classical guitar strings (including their silver-wound 504RH Corum polished Low-G that is almost squeakless) and the sound is full and rich. Highs ring like a bell, crisp, pure and without any thunkyness, even up the neck. As I think you can see from the photos, it is flawless. I'll ship this unusual Compass Rose tenor to you in a hard case for $625 + the actual UPS charges. Please edit the email address shown so it follows the normal convention. Thanks! PS - That last photo, the closeup of the back, was done at a different time and I now see that it looks far redder than the ukulele really is. That's an artifact, probably a flash reflection. There is no mark.

It has a remarkably clear tone, with good sustain, and excellent balance across the four strings, and along the entire fretboard. Great for jazz or classical (strumming or fingerpicking).
